Dave took tuesday off from his new job (he got a promotion :) GOOD WORK SWEETIE!) and took his girls to the zoo. We had a such a wonderful morning. We were really worried the yucky rain would ruin our day, but it held off until we reached home. I was so BUMMED I left my camera at home.
Family day was a blast. The zoo wasn't busy at all, and we were able to enjoy the animals and take our time. 1 thing that I've never experienced before was the giraffe and how friendly he was. He was so close to us (in his cage of course). He was about a foot away... AMAZING how God created these animals and how creative He is.
We're trying to decide on buying a season pass. Lauren just loves it...maybe not as much as mom and dad though???
