Daddy decided we needed a family day away. He took us girls to the coast for the day. We had such a blessed time! He knew exactly what we needed. Dave has been working tons lately, we really are thankful, but also needed time just the three of us. Leaving early meant we were able to have a good amount of time at the coast. Lauren was a blast and we got to do whatever we wanted together!!! The Lord is good! We came home extremely refreshed and joyful. Thanks sweetheart!

This is my favorite. Lighthouses always remind me of Anne of Green Gables. I've always wanted to travel to Prince Edward Island. Maybe my mom and I will go someday? I will walk the hills with the wind in my red hair...

We took turns going to the top of the lighthouse as we couldn't take Lauren...while Dave was walking the stairs I saw a whale spout off. Soooo amazing!

Love the pictures. And Sara do you know about the Road to Avonlea series. They are out on DVD and so amazing! I never even knew about them but a friend introduced me to them. They are set in Avonlea and many of the same characters are on them.
Love the lighthouse pics - Looks like it was a gorgeous day. I love all the anne book and the movies are good too. I used to have a huge crush on Gilbert Blythe.
