Well two of the three of us ended up with a nasty 24 hour flu. The 100% Korean stomach was strong enough to ward of the nasty, nasty bug.
I actually didn't know the extent of Lauren's sickness until 6pm Friday night when I was about to walk out the door for a girls night, when all of a sudden Dave yelled.....HELP!!!! I reentered the living room to find "you know what" ALL OVER the floor. This carried on till Midnight. My sweet little girl had never been this sick before. I then proceeded to get the same bug the following day. ICKY! What a long weekend! I'm so thankful Lauren has recovered and is doing well. She is such a trooper.
Here is a little contact sheet of impromptu pictures my dear friend Mindy took. This was just hours before her illness hit. Now thinking back....Lauren was a little "off." Mindy and I even went on a run and Lauren fell asleep in the jogger. She hadn't done that since she was 6 months old. I should have known. :)

Some of you might think this isn't a big deal, but for me.....I loved it! It was a surprise gift that arrived on Friday afternoon. My new, beautiful, stainless steel, coffee machine.
What's so great about this new machine you may ask? Well.....When you make coffee you definitely don't want it to be sitting on a burner all day. I love my afternoon cup! And also it doesn't use paper filters. The paper filters give coffee a whole different flavor. So, yes my taste buds are loving the new Cadillac of machines. I am now "needing" my burr grinder.
The old college machine......quite sad. It never seemed to give up and DIE!

Oh man! I am sorry you guys were sick! :( We all had that a couple of months ago. All five of us ralphed one night. It was terrible. I was the last to go. And, what do you know...I had made chili. Mmmm-mmm goodness. :) haha. Well, I am glad to see you two are better! And, sweet coffee machine! What a sweet hubby you have.

Your coffee maker picture has inspired me to dig in the boxes in the garage to find my old one.....from college as well. Hope I did not give it away when I went off coffee ....short lived. The instant stuff I have been drinking should not even be allowed to be labeled coffee. : )

So for the past month or longer I have been wondering who left the comment on my blog under Megan's post. Mindy was over last night and told me about your running club. I now know it's you:) Can I get you other blog. I can't run during the week but I can on Sat. mornings. Maybe:)
Wow Sarah! So glad you guys are better. What is it with husbands and strong stomachs? Brett doesn't get sick nearly as much as I do!
Dave was SO sweet to get you that coffee maker. Looks pretty fancy schmancy!

Aw, poor sweet Lauren. I just hate that, you feel so helpless as a parent. Love the new coffee maker! The photo collage won't enlarge, I want to see them bigger! :)
