I thought I would share a little crafty project I finished for Miss Lauren's room. I had seen a few idea's in PB kids magazines and didn't think they would be that hard and shouldn't cost $140. So here is my take on a similar piece of art you can find on their website. Mine is definitely "artsy" and not perfect. :) but that is what makes it a Sara Original. I really don't know if I can handle making another one with all the spray adhesive. It was a little messy, but maybe there are other helpful products??? Any who, here is a picture....and by the way my only cost was the canvas, and paint(which I have tons extra). I was able to use the leftover fabric from Lauren's quilts/window covering/bumper/etc. that my Mom had kept and Mindy helped with a few scraps too!!!

oh, and here is one of Lauren on her pink poodle, "talking" to Honey. My girl is so funny! I love her soooo much!

It looks amazing!!
Great job!!
so cute! even better in person. :o)
Sara, that is SO cute! I always think of trying to do something myself like that but never really get motivation to go out and try it, I hate paying full price for stuff like that when it looks somewhat easy to replicate. You did a great job! :)
Your art project is so cute! What a great idea. It's so fun to do things like that...and to not have to pay a ton of $. ;)
Wow, a Sara Original. That's impressive, I heard you can only get a Sara Original if you know the right people. You must be special:) It really does look great, very cute. I also like how you were able to use fabrics from other things she already has.
Wow! Just fabulous! Way to go Miss Sarah Shearer Who Needs to Go Into Business! ;)Very cool.
PS) Lauren looks so grown up in the photos above... esp. the close up one with her hair all wet. Such a sweet beautiful face!
