Its been over a month since my last blog. Many things need an update. :) I have since turned 30!!!! My goodness, it doesn't seem right. 30? 30? No not me. I never thought I would make it. But the Lord is so good and I have arrived. My wonderful husband and sweet daughter made my birthday a memorable one. They brought me flowers, chocolates, a card, special vitamin water, and a subscription to Cook's Illustrated. All the things a girl like me needs and loves. :) My sweetest friend Suzanne opened up her home for breakfast with a few of my dearest friends. Nothing better than sitting down with girl friends, having no distractions, and enjoying Loraine's delicious French Toast. A true blessing! After I left Suzanne's I went home and made my own birthday cake. I had found a recipe for an outrageous Chocolate Peanut Butter Cake:
That evening Dave took me out to dinner at California Pizza Kitchen. YUMMY!!!
We met up with The Ilagan's who were in town, and Mindy and Cade too! So fun! 
My Parent's came the next Monday and brought me a wonderful birthday present. My first Sewing Machine. Dave calls it the world's heaviest paper weight. I'm looking forward to proving him wrong. :)
It is worth turning 30 when your blessed with many wonderful friends and an amazing family.

Happy Birthday!
That sewing machine picture is adorable :) Hope you have fun figuring it out! I'm still trying to figure out mine- well, it was my mother-in-law's 25+ years ago and it's been a "paper weight" since then. Here's to being domestic!!
