Today felt like the first official day of rainy days in the PNW. Gray and wet all day, but it turned out to be great. Thanks to my sweet neighbor Nancy, who invited Lauren and I out for some puddle jumping. Nancy and Noah have this wet stuff down. With boots and coats on, we ventured across the street to the park parking lot. Nothing better than an empty parking lot for puddle jumping. Here are a few pictures of Lauren and Noah playing…enjoy, I know they sure did. Mama tried not to FREAK out about all the mud...

When I was a little girla I LOVED to walk through puddles in the fall and spring, but what was most fun was to walk on TOP of a frozen puddle in the winter time. These are treasures God has given us to enjoy, until Jesus comes again. When I see Miss Lauren enjoying the same things I did as a child, it brings a smile to my face.
